TimeWave Studio3

TimeWave Studio

After studying Virtual Reality at New York University’s ITP, the Center of the Recently Possible, in 1999, Producing Artistic Director J Dakota Powell has pivoted TimeWave into a studio that creates and produces new XR formats. Given Powell’s training and experience in the theatre, TimeWave Studio focuses on strong storytelling and leveraging staging techniques from the theatre to bring immersive experiences to life in a virtual world.

Please feel free to check out the Studio’s current and upcoming VR formats, M. Curie (Finalist of Best Immersive Interactive VR, Qld Festival ’23) and Smashers, a memoir on the Manhattan Project in virtual reality.
